Overview

Dance is a form of artistic expression that involves rhythmically moving the body, often to music. It is a universal language that transcends cultural and social barriers, and it has been a part of human culture for thousands of years. Dance can be performed solo, with a partner, or in a group, and it can serve various purposes, including entertainment, social interaction, spiritual expression, and exercise.
